Terms & Conditions & Refund Policy – Custom Boxes Web

By accessing or using Custom Boxes Web (“we”, “us”, “our”) services or placing an order, you agree to the Terms & Conditions and Refund Policy below. Please review this page before placing an order. We may update these terms at any time; continued use constitutes acceptance of all changes.

1. Introduction & Scope

Custom Boxes Web retains ownership of materials, templates, artwork, and designs used in producing custom packaging. We may display produced samples as portfolio items on our website or social media unless a specific confidentiality agreement is in place.

2. Copyright & Website Content

All website content—including text, images, software, and graphics is owned by Custom Boxes Web or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any website content without written permission.

3. Customer Accounts & User Conduct

  • You are responsible for the content you upload and for maintaining the account confidentiality.
  • You must own or have legal rights to any artwork submitted.
  • Do not upload unlawful, defamatory, or infringing content.
  • We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms.

4. Artwork, Files & Proofs

  • Submit artwork in PDF/AI (high-resolution vector files) at final size with required bleed.
  • You are responsible for spelling, layout accuracy, and file correctness.
  • Production and shipping timelines begin only after digital proof approval and full payment.
  • Exact color matching is not guaranteed without a hard proof or Pantone Matching System (PMS) request.

5. Production, Turnaround & Shipping

  • Standard turnaround: 10–15 business days (varies by project).
  • We operate facilities in the USA (California) and offshore to ensure speed and cost-effectiveness.
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, weather, or force majeure.
  • International customers are responsible for all customs, duties, and VAT.

6. Liability & Indemnification

  • You agree to indemnify Custom Boxes Web for claims arising from your content or breach of terms.
  • Our maximum liability is limited to the total amount paid for the specific order.
  • We are not responsible for indirect or consequential damages or lost profits.

7. Quality & Industry Tolerances

  • Industry tolerances apply (±2–3 mm size variance and standard color variances).
  • We are not responsible for errors in customer-supplied files (misspellings, low resolution, etc.).
  • Over/under-runs may occur (typically ±5%).

REFUND, CANCELLATION & RETURNS POLICY

12.1 Custom Orders — Non-Refundable

All products are custom-made; therefore, refunds are strictly limited. Once production has started (material procurement, die-making, or printing setup), orders become non-refundable.

12.2 Proof Approval Is Final

Once a digital or hard-proof is approved:

  • No cancellations or changes are allowed.
  • No refunds or chargebacks can be claimed.
  • Approved proofs are considered final and binding.

12.3 Non-Refundable Fees

The following fees are non-recoverable once incurred:

  • Rush production and expedited shipping fees.
  • Design support labor and material procurement costs.
  • Die-making and tooling charges.

12.4 Refund Eligibility (Before Production)

A refund may only be considered if production has not started, no materials have been purchased, and no labor has begun. Refunds, if granted, are issued after deducting administrative costs.

12.5 Quality Issues & Replacements

Replacements or reprints are provided only when:

  • A production defect is confirmed and attributable to us.
  • The issue is reported within 48 hours of delivery with photo/video evidence.
  • The issue was not present in the approved proof or caused by customer files.
  • Approved claims result in reproduction or store credit, not cash refunds.

12.6 Shipping Claims

  • Claims for damaged items must be submitted within 48 hours with evidence.
  • Damage occurring during transit is the responsibility of the carrier. We will assist you in the claims process.
  • Incorrect addresses provided by the customer will incur re-shipment fees.

12.7 Chargebacks

Customers must contact us first to resolve any issues. Chargebacks on custom goods produced according to an approved proof will be disputed and may result in legal action or refusal of future service.

12.8 How to Submit a Claim​

Email info@customboxesweb.com within 48 hours of delivery and include:

  1. Order number
  2. Photos/Videos of the defect
  3. Description of the issue

13. Force Majeure

Custom Boxes Web shall not be held responsible for delays or failures in delivery caused by circumstances beyond our control, including war, geopolitical tensions, sanctions, port closures, or global shipping route disruptions.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
